Sarah Pritchard

A proud native of Charleston, South Carolina, Sarah Pritchard graduated from the University of South Carolina in May 2020. After beginning her journalism career during the pandemic, Pritchard has grown to become an innovative and dynamic news producer with nearly three years of dedicated experience in Knoxville, Tennessee.

She gained valuable skills producing various shows for the first year of her professional career. As a result of her success, Pritchard’s passion and hard work were

noted when she was asked to take over the 6 p.m. show. She quickly excelled in the role, bringing the newscast from last in the market to a strong number two, going toe-to-toe with legacy stations.

Pritchard was also asked to produce a two-part special project, highlighting some of the country’s greatest military heroes, when the Medal of Honor Celebration came to Knoxville. She has served as a leader in the newsroom, using effective communication skills and news-judgement to support others.
